For me, this is what the States and MOST OF THE WORLD can do NOW…at this [current] moment in time as a transition from fossil fuels to a more environmentally friendly fuel. While we wait for the Solar Roadways: http://worldfreemansociety.ca/forum/69-tech-science-for-lifestyle/114153-solar-roads-could-power-an-entire-country?start=0 technology to be proven as a viability technologyfirst in parking lots: http://worldfreemansociety.ca/forum/69-tech-science-for-lifestyle/114153-solar-roads-could-power-an-entire-country?start=114 .

Then we can incorporate these two (2) technologies in such a way as to NOT compete with each other, but in such a way as to COMPLEMENT each other…at that point there would go one plank…one tenant of this BS capitalistic / communistic system that we are all forced to live by.

I want to ADD this:

David Blume STATES THAT YOU CAN REDUCE THE COST OF A STILL PLANT THAT PRODUCES ALCOHOL…ETHANOL FOR SALE IN The US by using CO-OPS . Plus, HE goes on-to EXPLAIN THAT YOU-CAN REDUCE YOUR MANUFACTURING COST of ALCOHOL…ETHANOL BY A $1.01 US a gallon and ALSO ON TOP OF THAT BY UP TO A $1.50 US a gallon BY SELLING-OFF YOUR ‘Tax Credits’ in-between the 1:31:09 mark and the 1:32:50 mark.

THIS IS ALL I CAN FIND ON THE INFORMATION ABOVE:

Why Wave Energy?

Wave energy has the potential to be one of the most environmentally benign forms of electricity generation. It is a clean and renewable energy source and its potential is huge. Some additional benefits of wave energy are:

With the wave energy resource distributed across the globe, wave energy offers many countries the benefit of security of supply

Waves are generated over large areas of ocean and, once generated, travel immense distances with only small energy losses.

Waves can be anticipated one or two days in advance through direct satellite measurements and meteorological forecasts which provide a high level of predictability and hence good network planning.

Good seasonal load-following for regions where electricity demand peaks in winter given heating and lighting requirements (e.g. Northern Europe, Western Canada and North-West USA).

Although wave energy is a concentrated source of wind energy, as it has often travelled very large distances it is regularly out of phase with the local wind conditions. Wave energy can therefore help to balance output variability from other renewable sources and maximise the efficient use of electricity networks.

Waves effectively average out the wind that generates them over large areas which results in a high level of consistency compared to wind or solar. Only on very few days per year are waves too weak to generate electricity.

http://engineering.oregonstate.edu/news/ar/2005/waveenergy.html

The OSU-developed buoys are designed to be anchored 1-2 miles offshore in water depths greater than 100 feet. At about 15 feet across by 12 feet tall, the buoys will sit neutrally buoyant in the water, and will be almost impossible to see from land with the naked eye. The research team pictures an array of buoys, or wave park, placed within a sectioned off area of a yet to be determined size, however, it is estimated that 10 square miles could power the entire state of Oregon.

This video depicts a biofuels and food project under development in Clayton New Mexico (NM). Specialty crops suitable for both ethanol and food production were successfully grown and harvested in the Clayton area in 2013.

In February of 2014 David Blume of Blume Distillation consulted with area growers and community leaders and described his unique integrated approach to bio-fuels and food production that radically enhances local economic development.

ALSO, I want to ADD this:

David Blume GIVES A Short Explanation On How-To Make Ethanol, between the 17:38 mark and the 20:45 mark.

Abengoa Bioenergy, in Portales (New Mexico), operates an ethanol production plant which produces 30 million gallons of ethanol a year from sorghum: http://www.abengoabioenergy.com/web/en/acerca_de/general/introduccion/la_compania/index.html and/or http://www.abengoabioenergy.com/web/en/acerca_de/oficinas_e_instalaciones/mapa_global/eeuu/index.html

In September 2011, the Department of Energy issued a $132 million loan guarantee that enabled Abengoa Bioenergy Biomass of Kansas, LLC (ABBK) to begin construction of a first-of-its-kind, commercial-scale biofuel plant. The plant is scheduled to become operational by the end of 2014.

This project will support 65 permanent jobs about 90 miles southwest of Dodge City, KS.

;) = The Abengoa plant will be one of three pioneering cellulosic ethanol facilities developed in public-private partnership with the Department to begin production at commercial-scale since July 2013.

http://www.abengoabioenergy.com/web/en/2g_hugoton_project/

Abengoa Bioenergy Biomass of Kansas (ABBK) is a company of Abengoa Bioenergy that will operate the new biomass-to-ethanol biorefinery located in Hugoton, KS. The construction of this "first of a kind" commercial scale biorefinery facility will allow ABBK to utilize their proprietary technology that has been developed and proven over the last 10 years to produce renewable liquid fuel from earth´s most abundant organic feedstock source - plantfiber, or cellulosic biomass. ABBK Project Outline:

•The 25 million-gallon/year biorefinery will be on-line and expected to be in full production by the end of 2014.
•The refinery - which will be fueled 100% by biomass (mixture of agricultural waste, non-feed energy crops and wood waste) - will produce 25 million gallons of ethanol derived from nearly 350,000 tons of biomass annually.
•The plant will utilize approximately 1,100 dry tons of biomass per day in the ethanol production process.
•The residue of that process will be combusted along with 300 tons/day of fry, raw biomass material (feedstock) to produce 18 megawatts of electricity. This power will make the entire facility energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
ABBK has secured the supplies from the local biomass producers for ten years. All the feedstock will be sourced within 80km distance from the plant.

http://energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2014/11/f19/santos-leon_biomass_2014.pdf

A 350 KPPH biomass boiler system: http://www.abbreviations.com/term/1434587 receives a blend of biomass feedstock, solid cake, syrup, wastewater treatment plant sludge, and biogas. Biomass feedstocks may range from corn stover, wheat straw, energy crops, wood chips. Boiler system ash is hauled to the biomass suppliers for crop land nutrient replenishment and on-site build of a visual community buffer.

Genetically modified organisms used in ethanol production will be contained, killed, and burned for fuel in the biomass boiler system.

It is located beside 425 acres of agricultural land that will act as buffer.

:) = Once the commercial production is successful, the technology is scheduled to be deployed across various ethanol production facilities across the globe.

;)

http://www.abengoabioenergy.com/web/en/prensa/noticias/historico/2015/bio_20150216-1.html

On January 16, 2015, over 30 local farmers and their family members visited Abengoa’s Hugoton, Kansas plant to learn more about the technology behind this second-generation facility. The biomass these farmers provide are critical to the operation of this, and all ethanol plants.

Attendees were able to see the ethanol production process,
beginning with the loading of biomass bales (2B). Tours followed the plant process to explain how: the biomass is chopped, washed, and broken down into liquid slurry; then sent through a fermentation process and finally, the ethanol is piped into shipping tanks and sent to market.

We’ve Opened the Gates of Hell: Fukushima Spews Radiation World-Wide

By Washington's Blog
Global Research, August 14, 2014

Fukushima Spews Radiation World-Wide

Preface: we’ve written thousands of articles on Fukushima and radiation. But this post will spotlight recent articles from EneNews … with which we have no affiliation of any nature whatsoever.

The American media hasn’t covered Fukushima for a long time. But that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been any news. It just means that the U.S. and Japanese governments have worked hard to cover it up.

Here’s a roundup of recent news (links to EneNews; click through to see original source material … that’s how the internet works):

Experts: Fukushima ‘globally enhanced’ cesium-137 levels in air by 2 to 3 orders of magnitude — Radioactive plume that reached Europe “contaminated the land, and as a consequence the whole food chain” — Concentrations greatly underestimated

200,000,000,000,000 becquerels/kg in fuel rod materials found near Tokyo… “the material spread globally” — Composed “major part” of worst Fukushima plume — Persists for long time in living organisms — Must reconsider disaster’s health effects (PHOTOS)

Nuclear fuel found 15 miles from Tokyo suburbs — Fukushima uranium in ‘glassy’ spheres transported over 170 km — Structural materials from the nuclear reactors also present (PHOTOS). Previously: Scientists: ‘Spheres’ of radioactive material from Fukushima reported for first time — Ball-like particles composed of cesium, iron, zinc — Solid and insoluble in water — Impact on human health needs to be examined (PHOTOS)

Official: “Unfortunately, the fuel itself is exposed” at Fukushima

Gov’t: Fuel melted “much deeper” into concrete at Fukushima reactor than revealed — Triple the depth of original estimate — Tepco: “Impossible for us to evaluate potential impact”

Gov’t Expert: Fukushima hot particles can’t be dissolved, even with hot nitric acid! — Huge amounts of fallout are still bound to organic material… “we have very little knowledge about this” — “Reaction is irreversible” (PHOTO)

‘Increasing alarm’ at Fukushima: Trenches filled with thousands of tons of plutonium contaminated liquid leaking into ocean — ‘Biggest risk’ at plant — ‘Exceptionally difficult’ problem — ‘Constant flow’ in and out of trenches — ‘Racing to stop’ more from coming in (PHOTO)

New report estimates 278 trillion Bq of plutonium released from Fukushima reactors — Over 200 times higher than amount reported by Tepco — “Highly radiotoxic when incorporated into human body” as it decays

Study: Plutonium from Fukushima went further than Chernobyl — Researchers ‘surprised’ their most plutonium-contaminated sample was from site farthest from Fukushima plant — Concern material is flowing into Pacific Ocean from land

‘Shock’: Water underneath Fukushima reactors to be dumped in ocean — Attempts to deal with problem have ‘failed’ — Officials: It’s better than radioactive substances just “spilling directly into the ocean” like it is now (VIDEO)

Fox: Fukushima radioactive material still being found in U.S. soil — Japan Gov’t: The disaster “posed radiation threat to human society”… In 4 days “detectable all across northern hemisphere” — Denmark: Fukushima clearly had widespread consequences, not limited to borders (VIDEOS)

Professor: Fukushima scaring ‘bejesus’ out of everybody in world… still flowing in ocean, radiation levels unknown — Clearly detectable in tuna at California coast… We focus a lot on bio-accumulation — Japan: Reactor leaks “may have gathered as a lump and drifted offshore, we need to continue monitoring it” (VIDEO)

Researchers: Radioactive materials detected off California, levels spike to 400% normal — Crew then discovers ‘island’ of tsunami debris — Never seen so much garbage in ocean before — TV: “Disturbing new images from Pacific… looks like islands of plastic” 1,000 miles from coast — 7 tons and 80 ft. long, can walk on it as if land (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

Video: Fukushima debris “waist high” on Canadian island; “Catastrophic death” trapped in nets, it’s horrifying; 15-mile long lines of floating trash — Journalist: Radioactive tsunami debris found far from Fukushima plant — Global concern over spread of contamination

Japan TV: Injecting water into Fukushima reactor accelerated meltdown — Nuclear fuel rods had “reaction generating large amounts of heat” — ‘Restricted’ Data: Monitoring post measured nearly 1,000,000 microSv/hr; Within hours radiation dose spiked 30,000% far away from plant (VIDEO)

Tokyo Professor: Surges in airborne radioactive releases have gone on for years at Fukushima — Exceeded 25,000 times normal level — Radiation alarms sound for hours at plant — ‘Extensive’ areas being impacted (VIDEO)

Study: Multiple surges of radioactive substances detected far from Fukushima Daiichi — Over 10,000 times usual levels at plant — Mayor: Gov’t knew but never told us, they can’t be trusted — Worst may be yet to come; Risk of ‘much broader’ contamination — CBS: “Many miles away… spike in cesium detected this week

Squark wrote: If you can make alcohol from leaves in autumn, you can keep the food as food. Yup Squark, that issue [concern] was tackled in the FIRST video that I posted ABOVE - check it out starting at the 28:13 minute mark and the SECOND TO LAST video that I posted ABOVE - BOTH of the crops in the SECOND TO LAST video that I posted ABOVE are for animal feed...cattle feed ONLY, they are not for human consumption either.

Thorium nuclear reactors are described as walk away safe. They could be Squark, but I wont bet the farm based on the truthfulness of that assertion...And like I previously pointed-out to ScareCro...But, I do like his idea for power generation for coastal communities...that is the ones that have [currently] in place and for the ones that can put into place an infrastructure of a power grid for its citizenry to use:

Please, show me Squark one simple thing - how does thorium nuclear reactors power INDIVIDUAL vehicles already [NOW] circulating in the US...already [NOW] manufactured in the US?

I believe, that that technology DOESN`T create any CLEAN BURNING fuel for those OTHER applications previously mentioned in the videos that I posted ABOVE either.

Applications Ideally Suited to Alcohol Fuel: http://www.blumedistillation.com/applications/

And most Countries DON`T HAVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF A POWER GRID IN PLACE FOR THEIR citizenry to use either...So, please tell me Squark...if the Country somehow can afford to have one in the first place - How are the citizenry of that Country going to get the power produced by that thorium nuclear plant to their homes or
to their businesses?

Plus, this goes with the concept of DE-centralization.

And also Squark, this is an affordable technology:
http://www.blumedistillation.com/why-customers-buy/ and http://www.blumedistillation.com/purchase-inquiry/ and http://www.mytravelcost.com/petrol-prices/ that can be EXPORTED [NOW] to small INDIVIDUAL communities or DIRECTLY to INDIVIDUALS outside of the US:

A power failure causes molten salt, to cool, stopping the reaction, so run away melt down reactions can't happen.
So what…it is still simply a VERY VERY EXPENSIVE TECHNOLOGY for OTHER Countries to deal with as a WHOLE!!

It would be pretty absurd to think that a thorium nuclear reactor can be purchased by...for just a SINGLE INDIVIDUAL, even if he or she lives in a so-called RICH Country!!

Medium Scale Ethanol Production with Blumedistillation

Also Squark, this is the title of this thread: 'Technologies that I believe can HELP humanity:'. That in mined I would NEVER recommend to anybody any nuclear power plants in any form....Be they Canadian or American made. They are to me, no more than just SCAM tools that are used by the RICH capitalist to make MONEY with. Simply by putting Countries into DEBT!!

via www.agreenroadproject.org Brief summary of this part - David Blume speaks about how radiation from Fukushima will affect biological systems, citing the Chelyabinsk incident in the former Soviet Union involving the explosion of buried radioactive waste. Over 300 square miles of land were initially contaminated but the radiation continued to spread over the next decade via the food chain. Blume recommends putting an end to the risk by replacing nuclear power with an alternative that is safe for the environment. He speaks of how electric turbines can be run on alcohol produced from crops with no pollution as they are doing in Brazil.

The Truth about Ethanol - Addressing the Myths

This presentation was created to address the common topics of concerns as it pertains to ethanol, or 200 proof alcohol as a fuel. In this presentation the topics addressed include: the US energy necessity to maintain their standard of living, US national security, food supply and how fuel relates to it and health effects of our fuel supply especially the questionable blending practices of today's fuel.

Don't believe everything you read or hear on T.V., as all of the data shared in this presentation can be verified and proven by organizations such as the USDA, EPA and various other government and private organizations.

Make some noise and be heard if this is something that bothers you!

Urban Air Initiative is a [501(c) ] 4 social welfare organization that is determined to educate the public concerning the health threats posed by domestic use of petroleum-based fuels, and to take positive steps to reduce the threat to public health by encouraging a change in the additives used in such fuels. UAI's goal is to improve the public's health by focusing on U.S. urban areas where citizens are exposed to dangerous levels of vehicle emissions. By serving as an information clearinghouse , we are collaborating with others to find practical solutions, beginning with improving the quality of our transportation fuels . By promoting the removal of some of the toxic components in gasoline called aromatics, and advocating for the use of safer, readily available alternatives, we can improve the quality of the air you breathe.

Dave will be providing an update on the potential benefits of the EPA's Renewable Fuel Standard and what the impact of moving to e30 would be for economy and environment.

•Are you concerned about ever increasing fuel and energy bills?
•Are you tired of seeing the Oil Cartel claim bigger and bigger quarterly profits at the expense of our environment and health?
•Are you tired of seeing our money and manufacturing jobs get exported out of our communities and country?
•Do you believe abundant food, fuel and jobs are our REAL Homeland Security?

Good News:

You are not alone and you can be a key part of the energy independence revolution! David Blume and IIEA make it easy for you to learn to produce alcohol fuel locally that:

•Costs less than 50 cents a gallon to make.
•Is 98% emission-free and carbon-neutral.
•Can be used to power transportation as well as cooking and electrical production.
•Will create permanent non-exportable jobs everywhere.

Portland has replaced a section of its existing water supply network with Lucid Energy pipes containing four forty-two inch turbines. As water flows through the pipes, the turbines spin and power attached generators, which then feed energy back into the city’s electrical grid.

Aussie Wave Energy Deployment Makes Splash, but Next Project Will Be Real Test

The question is whether the Carnegie Wave Energy system near Perth – it officially began piping energy to the grid last week – will serve as a springboard for future growth, or if it will become another symbol of wave energy’s struggle to move beyond science-project status.
